Muhammad Asad's translation of the Glorious Quran, in where he gives his footnotes and commentary as well as his translation. Qurâan its naturally in the Arabic language, which is why ANY translation of the Qur'an will most definitely contain mistranslations. Any translation of the Qur'an no longer retains that 'official' and perfect status, however it can be tremendously helpful to beginning students wanting to learn more about the Qurâan, and Islam. It is immensely important that one should read the Qurâanic commentaries and historical context, along with the translations of the Qurâan, to understand the situations and time of when certain verses where revealed.
